2学期より新しいALTを迎え入れることになりました。

My name is Shannon Kilgore. I am Daito-koko and Yokota koko’s new ALT. I am from a small town in San Diego called Poway, in the state of California, from America. My hobbies are jogging, playing percussion, watching baseball, and practicing Japanese. My Japanese ability is very low; however, I speak Spanish fluently. I graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Washington State with a double major in English Literature and Spanish Literature/Language/Culture. Also, I was in the Honors Program and received a music scholarship for Percussion, and was a member of the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra while I was in university. Apart from America and Japan, I have also lived in Japan, and travelled throughout Europe. I love living in Shimane, and especially Shimanekko. 私の名前は、シャノン・キルゴレです。大東高校と横田高校の新しいALTです。私は、アメリカ、カリフォルニア州のPowayというサンディエゴの小さな町の出身です。趣味はジョギング、パーカッション演奏、野球観戦、そして日本語を学ぶことです。日本語はまだまだですが、スペイン語を流暢に話せます。ワシントン州のピュージェットサウンド大学を卒業しました。専攻は英文学とスペインの文学、言語、文化でした。また、パーカッションのプログラムも受けて、在学中はブラスバンドやオーケストラの楽団員もしていました。アメリカと日本以外ではヨーロッパを旅行したことがあります。島根で暮らすことが好きです。特にしまねっこが好きです。
